Very interesting museum, definitely worthy to visit! Lots of amazing clocks. Remember to scan QR codes to see how the clocks work and sound. The visit is around 1.5 hour. No queue, even on free Sunday.
A quaint little museum located a few hundred feet from st Stephen’s cathedral in 3 floors which one has to climb using old design spiral staircase. Visit to the museum is Free Entry on 1st Sunday of every month. Good collection of clocks, pocket watches & watches beginning 17th century which was about 5 feet tall progressing upto current times. Worth a visit . It should take about 1 hour time. There’s washroom on every floor and a locker on ground floor.
One of my favourite museums in Vienna! Everything was stunning and I loved discovering all these types of clocks! Highly recommend!
Stumbled across this place by accident; and what a wonderful afternoon. Learning about all the clocks from bygone eras and also to see what the clocks are actually made up in the clock towers. Well worth the entrance fee. The lovely gentlemen working here had lots of facts to tell and gave great information on the clocks. Was a bag drop to safely lock bags away whilst visiting the museum. I’d go back for sure.
