An institution for years! Directly behind the Leica shop in the centre of Vienna's historic photo shopping district, there is an impressive permanent exhibition of valuable, rare, historic cameras and changing high-ranking photo exhibitions. A small café and library round off the experience. An absolute recommendation!

They had a comprehensive exhibition of Marry Ellen Mark when I visited and they did a great job at curating it. I appreciate them also having her book there to look through as well, it really adds up to the entire experience of learning about Ellen's work. The space blends the old building with the new space design inside and modern, colorful mural at the entrance. Love the old cameras being on display too. One of my favourite places in Vienna, I'd come back here anytime.

Awesome photo gallery with unique exhibitions as for the history of cameras and for the Inside views of China. The interior was really inspiring and comfortable. There even was a small café inside with a very clever and helpful english-and of course german-speaking waitress. The price wasn't high as we paid around 20€ for both of us. In the next trip to Vienna, I'm sure to visit!

Fascinating museum on cameras with an interesting array of historical cameras. Descriptions in German and English. It has a changing exhibition, when we went it was about photo journalism. Well worth the travel away from the usual tourist sites. Also a plethora of camera shops in the local area.
