Antonín Dvořák Museum

Cute little museum dedicated to Dvoržak, with a number of his personal items, as well a very interesting movie that is shown on the first floor. Worth visiting of you are interested in movie history.

A very interesting museum about the most outstanding Czech composer, located in a quiet location in a beautiful building with a garden. In addition to interesting exhibits on the first floor in a beautiful hall you can also watch an interesting biographical film. Tickets at a very attractive price (CZK 70) can be purchased at the box office, which is also a souvenir shop (greetings from Poland to the incredibly nice lady working there).

A very small and charming museum in a beautiful manor house with a lovely little garden.

Good English info, video was very informative about his life. Did not know he was aquianted with Brahms, Tchkovsky, and that he was very well traveled,held many distinctions, was a common man of the people and came from very poor family, but he had strong allegiances and was very loyal to his publishing co. Wonderful museum about Antonín Dvořák. He is one of my favourite composers. It was a pleasure seeing some of his own items. The top floor has the wonderful concert room which is elaborately painted. Unfortunately, I didn't get to sit in for some music. However, I know that must be a treat. This is definitely a museum that I would recommend to anyone visiting Prague. It is very well kept and affordable to visit. The staff is very friendly as well.
