House at the Golden Ring

This is must a see when you are in Prague, not a lot people visiting at the day I visited, has this large interactive mural exhibition going on now, family friendly play room at the end of tge tour, has courtyard cafe, and a hidden balcony too. And, the director of the museum is so friendly and personable, a must visit only 180 crown.

The House at the Golden Ring is located on Tynská Street, near the Old Town Square. The exhibition is dedicated to the transformation of Prague during the reign of Charles IV. A unique concept and depiction of the history of the creation of Prague.

Such a wonderful exhibition. This Museum has had everything you could ask for: - very kid-friendly (with creative & interactive play section in addition to the exhibition) - cheap prices (ca. 4-9€) - very in depth (about the history of Prague and Charles IV) - while still informing in many different and creative ways to keep you engaged (audio giuded videos, 3d Prints, Laser projectors, exhibits etc.) - in Czech and in English - kind museum employees - right in the city centre You could really feel the love and effort that has been put in this exhibition. We had a great time an I will definitely recommend it to anyone, I hear is planning to visit Prague one day.

This is an excellent little museum that gives a great overview of medieval Prague. It is easily accessible history that is educational and entertaining. Definitely would recommend visiting as one of your first stops in Prague.

When we visited, we were the only two tourists in the museum. It had models, exhibits, and interactive areas. The tour took about an hour. The staff were very friendly.
