BMW ruined my business! I have my BMW i7 Excellence Pro, in the BMW garage since October 2, 2024, the vehicle had a RECALL letter saying to bring it in, car was perfectly working, and after replacing the part needed, the car is not working anymore and they don’t know when will be fixed. So that car is sitting in their garage since then. And I have no replacement vehicle, etc. All this time I am paying finance, insurance on the car and I lost a lot of business, as my business rely on this vehicle.
The museum was a very poor experience that I paid to visit. From the start to finish it was very bad. The no bag no umbrella policy and stupid storage lockers was the beginning of the failures by BMW. Very few cars on display to represent the years of existence. It is a night and day comparison between the BMW museum and the Mercedes museum I visited. Unfortunate BMW doesn't learn from Mercedes on how a car museum should be presented to the public. Save your time and money and skip this place for sure.
BMW 218d Gran Tourer purchased in May 2018 - enrolled october 2018. Problems with the car: After a while, a warning appeared about reduced drive performance: "Oh, we’ll just reset the computer." (The equivalent of the IT helpdesk suggesting you restart your computer.) Very soon, it turned out that the gearbox needed to be replaced (an outrageously expensive repair that was, fortunately, eventually covered by BMW and the dealership). In October 2024, the high-pressure pump failed, resulting in metal shavings entering the fuel system, which now also needs to be entirely replaced—at my expense. Well, not entirely at my expense: a 40% discount on parts (which later turned out to be 28%) was offered. Even the initial diagnosis (€278) had to be paid. Total cost: €8,300; the final invoice came to slightly less: €7,500. This is a perfectly maintained vehicle, serviced by Monserez itself, driven daily on a regular route over good roads. The garage blamed me for using too much “white” diesel fuel. If that were the case, Belgium would be full of cars with broken fuel systems. The truth is, I purchased a "Monday morning" or "Friday afternoon" car and am now left bearing all the excessive costs (including Monserez's exorbitant hourly rates). Perhaps something was already wrong from the very beginning, as it took over four months to get the car registered. Before that driving a VW Gold (about 11 years) and BMW 3 WITHOUT any trouble whatsoever. I never thought the old cliché and ridiculous phrase BMW = Broken Money-Waster would turn out to be entirely true.
Technician and service overrated. Both our cars tried services at Tun Razak, Sg Besi 2 and Quill Automobile, very unpleasant and poor experiences. Expressing my disappointment over the poor, irresponsible, unprofessional, unreliable and irresponsive service on our regular service with brake fluid especially Sg Besi 2. Numerous followed ups unattended and after brake fluid changed caused more problem. No actual investigation and left issue unfixed. We have had owned few car’s brands by now and BMW given us the poorest experienced we ever had...Such a shame! At the end, we fixed at our own cost via outside workshop which is more professional, done in 1 day wherelse we have given BMW 1 month to check but yet unfixed! Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
