Very limited opening hours for tea ceremonies. Queue 20 mins before start time or you'll miss out. No bookings allowed. We arrived in time, only to discover at the door that payment is cash only (no card). Bit disappointed that neither staff member was Japanese. Building not impressive from outside, but the maple trees and ducks were cute!
It was closed when we visited. Gives a nice background for taking pictures. Located inside the English garden
Very special to attend the tea ceremony. Look on the website when they host it. They limit the amount of people per visit so queue about 20 to 30 mins before if it's busy season. Cash only!
This tea house is located on a separate small island, wrapped in trees and bushes. Only a narrow bridge leads to it, on which there is a wooden partition with ads for visitors. In the pond in which this island is located quite a lot of ducks and they are not at all afraid of people, since on the other side there is a small descent to the water from which people are suitable to feed them. This place looks very beautiful and atmospheric, and I really liked to take photos here, as if it were a separate oriental atmosphere around this island, right in the center of a German park.
