I came here to see some of the Christmas markets and I enjoyed it so much. There were a lot of great food stalls and many gift items for sale. This is a lovely place to come for the season and it’s surrounded by so many other shops which are also nice to look through.
What a beautiful place, especially during the Christmas market! We came here while traveling through Europe just to visit the market and loved it! Food is great not to mention the shopping. Bring cash a lot of vendors won’t take cards.
The place has a grandeur. Wonderful, incredible, the many words that could describe this place, such as Magical, as a point on our planet that attracts people, is magnetic. I loved Munich, but it is very expensive, like all famous places on our planet.
Marienplatz is my favorite place in Munich! The architecture & history are interesting and it’s a fun place to just stop and take it all in. Be sure to look for the coolest dragon ever! They say it’s there in honor of the family that owned that area, since they had a dragon on their family crest.
Beautiful place, Antics and beautiful churches. Suggest taking a stroll in this beautiful city. Approx 40 minutes from Munich Airport via train. Tickets 18, euro for a day in the route. Nice options for local food.
