Just amazing! We have visited the museum on Sunday, and the ticket was just 1 euro. “Party of life” of Andy Warhol and Keith Haring. An amazing exhibition. Great place to disconnect yourself and feel free to enjoy art and feelings. Super professional organised. Big recommendation for everyone! Super happy for this oportunity.
We had an amazing experience visiting the Andy Warhol and Keith Haring exhibition “Life is a Party” - and were also stunned by the other items in the museum’s collection. To top it all off, we went on Sunday where the price of admission was ONLY ONE EURO!!! Wow!!! I can’t wait to see what exhibit will replace the Andy Warhol/Haring one - but WARNING you only have through January 26th to catch it. Beat feet and get there!!!
I had a nice time at this museum, though I expected a bit more from it. The exterior is quite striking—colorful and textured, which makes it interesting to look at. Inside, the museum is spacious, with exhibitions spread out across three floors, each featuring its own unique display. I enjoyed exploring all the exhibits. While it was a good one-time experience, I’m not sure if I’d return.
I have visited Museum Brandhorst three times. My impression the first time was that it is more interesting on the outside than inside, or that the building is more interesting than its content. How interesting I found my next visits depended on its temporary exhibitions. I would not prioritize it compared to the other art museums. On Sundays when the 1€ entrance is applied, you can give it a try.
Great exhibition on Andy Warhol and Keith Haring - very extensive with a variety of works. If their art interests you, it is definitely worth visiting while the exhibition is still going. The museum's permanent collection has a few Basquiat's and Warhols as well.
