Museum Villa Stuck

Outstanding art nouveau villa. Imagine as if a mansion was decorated in the style of Klimt - that's exactly how this villa looks. It's the former residence of another art nouveau painter Stück, and you can see about 15 of his paintings, which are beautiful, along with the original frames. A true hidden gem that was closed for many years and just recently reopened. It's not very big, so about half an hour is enough for a good visit.

The villa itself is very interesting in terms of its interior design (what's left of it). It strongly contrasts with the contemporary art exhibitions on site, but can be enjoyable if you like both worlds. 4 rather than 5 stars because I found the price (9 EUR) a bit high in comparison with other similar-sized places.

This is a timeless beauty hailing more than 100 years of art pieces! I was astounded by the beautiful and well kept 100 years old books. It's an easy to museum and one can not fail to notice it's magnificent white walls from a 500 meters distance!

I remember the works of Franz on Stuck from books and postcards I liked years ago, so it was very nice to finally see some originals. The Villa is stunning, as is the garden. It's a big Villa, and a medium minus size museum. The historical part is the highlight. The two contemporary changing exhibitions I saw atm were not my cup of tea, but it was still interesting to pass by. Definitely worth a visit, I'd say maximum an hour inside and at least half an hour to sit at the garden
