Beautiful spacious park love to spend time walking among its lakes and greenery. You can visit the tower or sit in one of its cafes, or visit BM museum. It’s beautiful all year round. You go for a walk or ride a bike breathing clean air, enjoying the quietness or just spend the day with friends and family. Many events are held such as concerts, marathons, bazaars.

This is vast park and has historical significance too. There is ample parking space and the stadium gives an amazing view from the top of the cliff. There are small water bodies where you can see swans and ducks. Its a beautiful place for kids to play and enjoy sports activities.

Olympia Park in Munich is a truly iconic destination that combines history, beauty, and fun in a way that caters to everyone. As a visitor, I was immediately impressed by its stunning layout and the sense of grandeur that the park exudes. Originally built for the 1972 Summer Olympics, this expansive space is not just a remnant of history, but also a vibrant and versatile public park. The park itself is vast, featuring lush green lawns, serene lakes, and numerous walking and biking paths that are perfect for a peaceful stroll or a more active exploration. Whether you're relaxing by the lake, enjoying a boat ride, or simply taking in the surrounding views, the tranquil atmosphere is a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. One of the highlights is the iconic Olympia Tower, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of Munich and the surrounding Alps. The views from the observation deck are simply amazing, and I highly recommend visiting during sunset when the city is bathed in golden hues. If you're an adventure seeker, there are plenty of activities to keep you entertained. The Olympic Stadium, with its unique architectural design, is still in use today, hosting concerts, events, and sports activities. You can also take a tour of the stadium to learn about its fascinating history. For those with a taste for adventure, the Olympia Park also offers activities like zip-lining, bungee jumping, and even a small amusement park. The park is also home to the BMW Welt, a modern automotive museum that showcases the latest BMW models, along with a history of the brand. If you're a fan of cars or simply enjoy innovative design, this is another must-see spot within the park. Another thing I loved about Olympia Park is the sense of accessibility. It's easy to navigate, with plenty of benches, rest stops, and places to grab a bite. The surrounding area is also filled with cafes and restaurants, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Overall, Olympia Park is a fantastic place to visit for anyone visiting Munich. It’s a blend of history, nature, sports, and entertainment that makes it suitable for families, couples, or solo travelers. Whether you're looking to relax, explore, or learn, this park has something for everyone.

Lovely park with views from the peak . Do check out the former women’s Olympic village. The block units here are each displayed with individual wall artwork and currently used as student accommodation.

Very nicely maintained, good walking and cycle tracks. Lake is good, some coffee and food stalls around it, a swimming pool near Olympia tower.
