P1 Club

It seemed like one a kind place compared to all the other clubs in Munich. The entrance was ok and there were couple of people to welcome guests (I had invitation for a private party) but I didn’t find the bartenders particularly warm and welcoming.

Pros: Historic club at the Haus Der Kunst. There's even an exhibit about it. Small venue which can be nice. SO many bars. Like five bars in a club the size of a modest apartment. You won't be waiting/shoving your way to drinks. Nice outdoor/enclosed/smoking space (also with a bar ofc) even in the cold. They seem to serve pizza all night which looks actually really good. Cons: I think not a lot of locals? Vibe seemed a bit subdued (we got there at 1:30am, but still). Dj seemed to be playing identical beat tracks over every song. Maybe come on a night where there is a special guest/theme. We definitely had fun but I suspect there's some more interesting spots around. We got tickets beforehand but didn't seem necessary, walked right in. Maybe earlier in the night they would have been.

Bouncer let us in then immediately followed us into the main room and threatened to throw us out unless we paid him €50 each. We'd only just arrived in Munich on a late flight so we ended up paying it bit there was 4 of us so he's made €200 of of us. I can imagine it's a nice little earner for him. Avoid this place and avoid being scammed.

Terrible experience, private area booked and next to us there was also a private area but it exceeeded the number of guests of 14 and they encroached on our space. We left as the. Bouncers too were arrogant and aggressive. An experience I found disgustiing, humiliating and never again will I set foot in an establishment as such!

I visited P1 in May 2025 and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. I made a reservation in my name, but my friends (people I work with) all arrived first. When I arrived later (around midnight), alone, the security guard who seemed to be 10 feet tall was extremely rude, pushing me out of the entrance area and not even allowing me to ask a question to the hostess. He yelled at me in German (I don't speak German) several times on purpose when he realized I don't speak his language, even though I tried to argue that I just wanted to ask a question. I texted my friends inside the club and two Germans came to get me at the door. When they called me "come here, let's sort it out", the security guard grabbed me by the arm so hard and kept pushing me out of the entrance that my arm got hurt!! His fingers made bruises in my arm!! After a LOT of arguing, my friends managed to convince him to let me in and I HAD TO APOLOGIZE TO THE BRUTE SECURITY GUARD, BECAUSE ACCORDING TO HIM, I WAS BOTHERING HIM! I went into the club crying, because this was one of the most humiliating situations of my life! I was verbally, emotionally, and physically ASSAULTED and I even had to apologize to a man who doesn't even know how to do his job properly. If this is the standard of the club's staff, I never want to set foot in this filthy place again! I've been a DJ and event producer for 10 years, and I've NEVER seen anything like this, it's definitely not a friendly or safe place. I'm never going back!
