Amazing experience with modern art! I especially like the arrangement of each objects and the meaning of the collection! The modern design is stunning out and would always recommend you to visit it lastly. However, it would be greater if displayed movie come with a short description or my art is not enough to feel them.

Great museum with diverse exhibits. A design (applied art), Bauhaus, Architecture, and art exhibit under the same roof. The museum presents a well curated and almost encyclopedic exhibit of modern German and western aesthetic creation, from Walter Gropius to Jeff Koons. It can be better visited without time pressure. I recommend 3 or 4 hours for people who are interested in history of art and design, although a rapid visit could be made in a bit more than one hour.

Overall a nice experience for those who enjoy a collection of modern art and finding. On Sunday it costs 1€ per adult and children are free. There were a few exhibits that seemed to be grotesque and explicit for their own agenda and not art related.

€1 ticket on a Sunday, who can complain about that. Coat and bag check cost us more… try not to go with a back pack. Not completely the type of art that I connect with but very interesting all the same.

Got the Pinakothek + Brandhorst combo ticket which was well worth the price paid! Lots to do and see throughout these 2 museums, one can easily spend an entire day there.
