Be prepared to have your head looking up the entire time, the ceilings of every room, basically, are covered with amazing work of art. Adorned with sculptures, paintings and more. The exhibit is a must see for anyone even remotely interested in history, or German culture. It is about 2 -3 hours of walking through the Residence Museum. There is plenty of restrooms by the way.
A wonderful walk through the beauty of the Royals lifestyle. Impressive art and decorations of gold & marble, blended with good taste. Each room has a different color combination, with different architectural design, with elegant details on the walls, ceiling & floor. You could see a combination of Versailles & Schonbrun in grandeur, but it has a unique style and atmosphere. Loved it 🫶
Fantastic place to visit. Always interesting to see that throughout history, the rich always live opulent lives while the commoners get to struggle for them. 😉 The amazing collection of jewels, artifacts, and the rooms themselves are worth the time, especially if you like history. Highly recommend coming here.
One of the most gorgeous palaces I’ve ever been to, counting in Versailles and the one in Madrid. The area opened to the public is generous. There’s a lot to see and so much details to appreciate. I couldn’t move my eyes away from the exquisite and luxurious interior decorations. A real feast to the eye.
A really unique museum right in the middle of the city. The exhibits are extensive and beautifully presented—you could easily spend hours exploring. Definitely worth the entrance fee for a one-of-a-kind experience. Bought tickets upon arrival at the ticket office.
