Stayed here a few times during Summer 2024. This is probably the most stylish hotel in Munich: the lobby, the restaurant, the hallways, the rooms all have a very nice design (think much more modern version of W Hotels). Service was also good and everyone working there was really nice and helpful. During our stays we had a few different rooms but they were all very nice and quiet. Right after the design, the breakfast was probably the second best thing of the hotel. Great buffet with a really wide variety of food as well as multiple items to order à la carte. The location of the hotel is good-ish. Not right in the city center of Munich but just a short tram ride (or long walk) away.
Julian at the night shift was absolutely amazing! He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. You can really feel he cares about guests and goes out of his way to make sure everything is perfect. One of the best hotel receptionists I’ve ever met – truly top service!
This review is for the hotel bar. Highly recommend if you are in Munich even if you’re not staying at the hotel. All of their cocktails are delicious and amazing. The bartenders really put on a show when they’re making the drinks for you. Louis (i hope I spell his name correctly) he is pictured was our bartender for the night and he was amazing. Speechless. Had 2 harmony royale and 2 pornstar martinis. Onto 4 stars due the drunken crowd from Oktoberfest and noise level
Kudos to whoever recruited the staff! They were all welcoming, helpful, friendly and focused on giving guests a stellar experience, from check-in to checkout. Thank you! You made our stay superb! The rooms are lovely, even with the lighting that was hard to figure out... The a/c worked perfectly, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding.
Sorry, that was my worst experience with hotels of such class so far. I stayed just one night and paid about 250 Euros for the room and breakfast. For the prices that high one would expect high quality service. But... Right at the check-in the receptionist forced me to pay 100 Euros deposit. No explanation, just "It's our policy.". In other words the hotel has zero trust and respect to his guests who have already paid it a lot. May be the hotel is afraid that a guest will eat a chocolate or drink a beer from minibar without permission, I don't know. But it goes further. I was charged deposit twice (!), firstly with one card and then with another, because the system didn't reflect smth on the first attempt and again I was forced to use my second card. Wonder what would have happened if the second attempt also glitched because I didn't have the third credit card. Before going to sleep I verified that deposit was taken from both cards. The next morning I started the checkout process. I call it "process", because it lasted 30 (!) minutes. I got late for the business conference because of that. Firstly the system got frozen, then the receptionist refused to unlock the deposit on the second card by saying it couldn't find it and blaming me for this. Finally this nightmare was over causing me a lot of stress. No apologies from the hotel stuff as if it was a usual case. Dear Hotel Management team please fix this deposit process, it is cumbersome and creates a lot of inconvenience for guests. Next time on business trip to Munich I will have to choose hotel that doesn't create these unnecessary issues for the guests.
