An interesting place for about one hour visit. The descriptions are available only in German so if you don't know German you will be quite disappointed. A Sunday ticket for 1 euro is a fair price for the unknown artists paintings.

I usually love a art museum visit but this one was not that interesting. Placards were mostly in German which made it hard to understand what we were looking at. Private collection tended towards up and coming artists the gentleman was supporting so not many known works. 1 Euro Sunday visit made it affordable even for a quick visit.

An interesting collection of paintings by lesser known (internationally) German artists. Smaller than other Munich museums, so easier to absorb. Entry fee only 1 Euro on Sundays.

Cute little museum. Affordable with a coat check. This old building has three floors of gallery and assistance all around to answer any questions. Many German artists here at this specific museum.

Made a Sunday tour, with 1 euro entry. My aim was to see Lenbach paintings. Meanwhile discovered other German artists and works from 19th century. Definitely, es lohnt sich!!!
