One of the best grocery stores in Reykjavik, friendly staff and very large assortment of goods, especially cheeses and deli items. The rotisserie chicken is pretty good too!

There’s no single shop in Reykjavík that has more selection of delicatessen foods, jams or specialty food items. Here you’ll find 10 different types of olive oil, 10 different Mexican spicy sauces, all types of organic foods, many chocolates, many bakery items, many artisanal drinks.

Hast to be one of the best grocery stores in Reykjavik and possibly the whole entire island. Here you will find all sorts of items ranging from local to imports. If you are a fan of Greek olive oil, they have it. A fan of hot sauce from habanero to Cayenne, they have it. Are you looking for local goods? They have Hakarl, artic thyme tea, harðfiskur and smoked algae. This would be the grocery store I'd recommend to locals and tourists. You'll find basically anything you need.

A very special grocery store that has been around for a long time but has managed to keep up with ever changing food trends ... offering lots of speciality items that make foodies like me happy customers! 😊👍😊 They always have very good fresh produce and herbs ... as well as nice selection of both domestic & imported cheeses. I also recently discovered their spicy sausages ( see photo) that I really like to add to warm salads 😋😋 made with products from this store. 👍😊 The only minus are the tight aisles and overcrowded shelves due to the huge variety of products .... but the friendly and professional staff is always ready to help you find whatever you need! 😊😊 Today, I was particularly happy to see some top quality Greek items ... including really good olive oil on sale in the shop for the first time here in Reykjavik. This means, of course, that I won't be bringing olive oil with me next time I visit Iceland ... from Greece. 👍😟👍😊👍

This is more of an experience than a grocery store. Their emphasis is on offering products that are not readily found in chains that focus on low price. The store seems to morph as you walk the aisles like something out of Harry Potter because there always seems to be something new on the shelves as you walk by.
