Lovely museum with two mid-sized galleries and a lively cafe that over looks the surrounding park. Modern Icelandic works - currently one gallery includes artworks by Icelandic artists that span approximately six decades following the turn of the 20th century and the other the latest show, “Unspoken,” a career overview and new work by Kristín Gunnlaugsdóttir. Loved this exhibit - evocative work.

Some awesome art but had to subtract a star for the noisy cafe that’s co-located. East gallery was a little quieter, but the West gallery had doors open mid-gallery, would’ve been quieter if only the far doors were used.

Great museum featuring one (most?) famous Icelandic painter. Tickets are good for all three Reykjavik Art Museums

Very nice open comfortable space, enjoyed the pieces that were displayed. Happy hour is a nice experience.

I was very lucky to see the exhibition of art by Kristín Gunnlaugsdóttir. ♥️
