Place is warm and cozy but the staff are anything but. maybe they hate working here? But staff is just unfriendly and giving a pissed off look to all its customers Coffee is average with beautiful latte art. this place is an amazing place for photos and just chilling out after a long day of walking Great location near the iconic church but still hidden in an alley If you want good service and to feel welcome, skip this place
This Reykjavík Roasters was near where we were staying, but looked like a place that takes their coffee seriously. It was a cold and wet day, and by the time we wandered in, we definitely wanted a coffee. The coffee itself is top tier without trying too hard. You can tell straight away it is the real deal. I had two coffees while we were there on first visit and went back each day we were in Reykjavík. We grabbed a table, and I pulled out an origami book we’d bought earlier. We sat and thawed and dried out while folding paper cranes. It was a lovely place to sit and relax, warm up, and enjoy the craft of good coffee as we planned out next moves. Reykjavík Roasters is absolutely worth a visit. Whether you’re a coffee obsessive or just need a break from the rain, wind or need some time for origami and adventure planning, it’s focus is on great coffee and they knock it out of the park. I did not buy their merch, but I wish I did because I can still remember the coffee, and it was good.
Cute simple stop for coffee and a light bite. We got cappuccinos with oat milk, porridge & the toast with red pesto. Staff was really nice. Found seating pretty quickly. Overall very good.
Amazing place with a good coffee and quality food. I really loved the flat white with oat milk I had here. Brazilian beans were soo good! Nice, cozy space to sit with a cup of coffee.
The location is perfect, set up in a small house on the intersection between main roads leading into town and roads leading up to the cathedral. It’s cute and full of coffee paraphernalia. As a bigger man, it feels a bit cramped, but the coffee is high quality, which makes up for a lack of space during peak time, and the staff are kind and friendly, so it’s worthwhile. Sadly, prices have gone up a lot! But the last time I visited was well over ten years ago…
