We both thoroughly enjoyed our vegan burgers here - the patty was cooked very well, and the accompanying vegan cheese, vegan mayonnaise and sweet potato fries were delicious. There's a nice selection of drinks available, including cocktails and local beers. The food came quickly and our server was fantastic. He was really friendly, helpful and attentive, meaning we had a great meal.
Food was delicious, could not fault it in anyway. The restaurant is buffet style but don't let that put you off. The selection was fantastic. If your like us and new to Iceland the price may scare you a bit, £153 for two people with a bottle of chardonnay. We will eat here again as like I said the food was 1st class.
I thought it was okay overall. We got the breakfast buffet and dinner buffet. Breakfast buffet was about $25 USD per person, and it was pretty decent overall. Food was good, and there were a few Icelandic things. Dinner buffet was quite pricey (over $60 USD per person). It was very good, but you can get a more affordable meal anywhere else in Reykjavik. There were some good food options, including steak that they slice for you, but I don't think it was worth the cost. And there were not really any Icelandic dishes. Overall, breakfast is okay, but we probably wouldn't do the dinner again.
Very nice restaurant in Reykjavik. Went for the buffet but had an a la carte option. the buffet had a great choice of cold and warm food and meat and fish. Service was excellent and the atmosphere classy and relaxed.
It's located inside the Reykjavik Natura hotel and offers patio seating during warmer weather. Their breakfast buffet includes Icelandic staples like Skyr, waffles and sourdough and they've a full dining menu including several fish and vegan options. The pricing for these is comparable to restaurants in the city more or less. During my stay, I tried their fish and chips, arctic char fish skillet and shrimp tempura and they were all wonderful. The dinner buffet was much more expensive (roughly 80 USD when I stayed) and I didn't try it out. They also have seasonal brunch and dinner buffet options which looked pretty appetizing.
