Hotel James Joyce

Very old hotel. Good location. We had issues with the power shutting off and the sink not draining. We booked it because it was affordable but it was below average for that price. 2 star accommodation

Very good location right off a noisy main street but the hotel itself was quiet. Adequate breakfast with hot food as well. Room size was OK but the bathroom shower stall was too small. Awkward. No change of linens or towels.

Would definitely recommend for people visiting Trieste. Great value, phenomenal location and friendly staff. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The only negative is that I'm not sure the room AC will keep up with the heat in the summer months when it's hotter. Other then that would stay again if visiting. Almost forgot, they were able to accommodate us at 1230 for check-in as the room was cleaned and available, which was a plus after a long flight.

We had one night stay over in the hotel James Joyce! It was a small boutique, authentic hotel in the heart of trieste! You need to visit it at least cause of the most interesting receptionist man! Ask him about good pizza, he knows:) Dogs are available to stay over as well

Lovely quaint hotel. Had a really nice room on top floor. 2 min walk to restaurants and central area
